no comments

don't let it worry you mate. while feedback is nice to have most people don't feel the need to comment.
if people didn't like your work they wouldn't download it

If one is begging for comments, the  least you could do is put a link to the skin you want commented on. :NOTSURE: 

hehe that would be a not so good idea.. when it reaches over some 1000 downloads it would be a lot of comments... and there is a system thats is in place the star rating system.. although not fair because the original rating is set by mods not by users.... but still better than nothing right

One thing you have to remember is that only registered users can leave a comment, taking your most download bootskin, over 5400 downloads, only 16 downloads by registered users, the rest by anonymous user who can't post comments.

leave it yar u ll get comments when u ll bcome popular make more skins get more downloads thats wat u can do....
n never bother for comments.....
now y most people dont comment
lets b practical... when u click on a skin it takes u another page to download it ...den u ll download that.. but who takes care of going back into previous page n then post a comment.. its not that easy how many comments did u post dear....

That's assuming the Rate this Skin button even WORKS. I haven't been able to vote for over 5 days,so I try to leave a comment. Some of us would love to rate this stuff, if the damn button worked.  Now I have to go back to what I dl'd(I took notes)and vote when it's working, just to be fair.I'm sure not many do this. And hemanherecomes, I've seen skins with big dl #'s and only 2 or 3 comments and some with lots and lots. It doesn't take much effort to at least leave a :CONGRAT:

I remember someone making a post like this a few years ago.  He ended up not liking the comments because of the flaws that were pointed out. ;) 

My My My it seems some sneaky person have changed it..its true it does not take you to another page anymore :CONGRAT:

I try to leave a  :CONGRAT:, a comment,or if not something I hope is constuctive. I see this is done by most other members. I've found little or no "trashing" of anyones work.Take pride in the dl numbers,a true indicator of how well liked your work is.Big or small,each one means someone likes it.  And I STILL can't vote,dammit!

Did the page not change... if the url is same it doesnt mean that page is also the same. You can see contents are different so the pages are also different... hehehe

Posting resized screenies that while showing the issue you are discussing, makes it hard to duplicate as for distribution .Is acceptable. As long as they are posted within this site. Zoom or Jafo will correct me if im wrong.



As for the no comments? yes the majority of the users are not members and that hampersgetting tons of comments compared to DL#'s. Tho I do admit I love the comment when I get one. It dont hurt me when I recieve none, as I can tell by the DL#'s if my item was well recieved or not . But yes sometimes a critique or 2 is helpful toward bettering our skills.

I have used Firefox since about 1.3, now using 3.0 RC, when click download button I get the download dialog window, skin page does not change.
