Registration Question

A serial number is not required to install, but it is for updates. It should be on a white sticker inside the DVD case, above the DVD itself. Make sure it did not come unstuck and loose in the case. There's also a possibility if it was purchased at a store like Gamestop, and they had it unwrapped on the shelf, that they removed it so it couldn't be taken (and then they forgot to give it to you).

If the situation like HM described is your case (definitely no CD key), you can contact [email protected]. You will need a picture of the box and I think the receipt because they need to confirm you have a legit copy, but they can assign you a new serial #.

In another thread kryo also suggested to try Gamestop, if you did buy it from there, since they might have the sticker lying around if they forgot to give it to you.

Thanks for the replies. I bought the game from Best Buy. Could you describe the CD sticker? I'm going to take a look around my desk and my many CDs (which I've been moving around lately) to see if I can find any CD key before I email Stardock.

It's a white rectangular sticker that says something like "PC SINS SOLAR CODE STKR" in black type, and then has the serial number.

Thanks for all of your help. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it I honestly don't remember it even being in the box.

I've sent an email to Stardock Support. I'll just have to work with them at this point.
