Sign-In/Register Problem

I just downloaded the Impulse beta. When I started it up, it asked me for my Stardock logon information (defaulting to my existing account). I logged in with that, no problem. But, going to the Community tab, it presented me with a Log In blurb in the upper right. I tried Logging In with my Stardock login (using my email address as Username). No good. It just returns me to the same screen with no error message. I tried it with my Stardock Username. Ditto. So, I tried the Sign Up option. I couldn't enter my existing Stardock Username because it has spaces and the Impulse version doesn't accept those. So, I used a variation without spaces. For the email address, I used the one I use for Stardock (since it recommends I do so). I filled in the rest of the information and submitted it. I got:

"Sign Up Error - Email Error Your Sign Up attempt was not successful. The email address you have chosen is already associated with an account.
Please enter a different email address and try again."

And, yes, my email addres IS already associated with an account. Impulse told me to use that one.

So, I'm stuck. Since I can view all my Stardock registrations via Impulse, it looks like I'm signed in properly there. I assume the Community tab wants a separate Community account log-in. But, I'm not sure what to do.  Should I use a different email address?  Or, should I change my Username on the Stardock forums (here) to meet Impulse's criteria (no spaces) and try signing in (or logging in) with my current email?  Or, is this a bug and I should just wait a while and see if it goes away?

The community stuff isn't finished yet. Impulse is still beta and the community is a work-in-progress. Nothing's wrong with your account; I can't log in on the community site either (the hope is to get it hooked up to automatically log in with the same credentials as Impulse). :)

OK. Thanks. I'd suggest a note someplace to save everyone some time. Of course, it could very well be there and I didn't see it.
