Micro Updates

What am I updating?

Impulse keeps telling me that there are tiny updates to DA and even TA.  For instance, right now it tells me that DA can go from 1.80g.102 to 1.80g.103.  When I click history it says there isn't any.  How am I to know what this update does, if I want to download it, and if it will break my current games?  I had some of these yesterday too (and they were 200+ mb!).

Please advise.

The last part of the version number is generally meaningless and varies between SDC, Impulse, and standalone updates (Sins). The large download most likely just due to a kink in Impulse's change-detection system (if the update is sufficiently different from the installed, it just reinstalls to avoid any potential issues).

Why would the version number change? Are you saying there is no difference in the downloaded version and the one installed? If not, what changed?

I was referring to the DA example above. Will it effect TA if I don't install the update? Anything change from .002 to .003?
