Mod game. I play the 7 Deadly Sins mod by DANMAN. Awesome mod. Go to Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/ Mod folder. 7 Deadly Sins/Game Info. (Ex: Tec) go to PLANETMODULE_TECHORBITALGAUSSDEFENSE. Adjust damageperbank:front to 240, prebluffcooldowntime to 2.5, burstcount to 2, burstdelay to .4500000. Adjust these values to what you think is suitable.

Nah, I wanted stronger defenses and I was gravely mistaken. I simply needed to learn how to play the game and shut up :) I used to put all the eggs in one basket and simply build everything and attack, yet diving your fleet is the key to defense.

A 7-9 defenses turrets + 2-4 Hangars + 1-2 Repair bays + A capital ship (should be your battleship) and maybe a few frigates here and there (really nothing much, 3-6 will do), and you can defend against most heavy assaults. At late game, you have enough resources to defend nearly each and every colony you conquer immediately.

As a matter of fact, I fear that the heavier defense platforms I wanted might ruin the balance. Does the 7 deadly sins mod ruin the balance?
