Why I love WindowBlinds

Yeah, it's plugging a product, but a product I love.

I love WindowBlinds. It's my most used program along with Firefox. It makes my PC so much nicer to use, with the custom themes being a major plus. It's very easy to use, and I love how it makes my PC look. It's worth trying, if nothing else. It helps, however, if you have an idea of what you want. It also has a lot of skins available.

It's the first thing I install after rebuilding a PC.

Windows is naked without it.

Yes it is.  ;)

Windows isn't naked without it. It's ugly and you can see its guts without it. Seriously, it looks exponentially better.

LOL, great way to put it. XP is sooooo fugly, especially blue Luna. Silver isn't SO bad, but still makes me want to stab my eyes out compared to being skinned with WB. ;P

Oh yeah, I have to look at blue Luna every day at work (shudder).

Why not switch it to the silver subtheme? That's what I always did (FIRST thing I did).

I guess it would be better than the blue, a little. I need to get a better wallpaper for it too (I'm not the only one that uses it....I wonder if my boss would even notice?)

I agree with Bebi...blue would be tough to go back to but silver was a decent looking luna theme. :)

Even better; install WB at work! That's what I did.

But if you can't get admin-rights, the silver-theme is the way to go. :)

Yeah good luck trying to do that on government computers, hell the screensavers tab was completely gone in one department.

Finally, erathoniel, a post I can agree with.

SD products are the best.

Macs where I work. Which is kinda crappy.

I always switched to the green one first, just to get me through till I could install WB. Course green's my favorite color so it made it less painful.

WB is truly the best, you can be a total newb and still have a rocking desktop and impress the neighbors and techsupport!!

I haven't been able to live without it for years now, and will probably never be without it. Stardock please never decide to get rid of it!!!

You can also use the Royale or Zune themes.

I just use the green theme if I can't use WindowBlinds.

May we do this, I mean, a copy installed at home and another one at work, don't we have to buy another license?

I'm pretty sure you can. Only one can be in use at a time, however, and there are other restrictions. Details available, just can't find the link right now. So if ,say, you have a home PC and a laptop, no problem, skin'em both.

You could also try MyColors. It's similar, to some extent.

I've been using windowblinds for years... and I've used it on every computer I've owned in the last decade (seriously).... I could never live without it....

That's awesome! Following that line, I can install WB in Vista and XP, same machine, while I'm deciding wich one I'll keep. ;)

Forgot to say, thanks goes to Wizard1956
