Athlon 1800+. 512 megs ram ddr2100 ram. 9600xt 256. Gimme ideas.

One of my pcs is this hunk of junk.

It even runs on a 1600x1200 samsung lcd.

How much of a difference would I get, in both wattage, and power, by replacing this heap with a 7" eee 4g surf?  (Keep in mind, I would be putting 2 gigs ddr2 667 ram in)

I'd lose video card power, but I'm wondering how well the machien overall would run, considering the 1800+ is 1.53 ghz and the 4g surf is 900, but the 1800+ has 512 megs ddr1 2100 ram and the ee would have 2 gigs ddr2 667 ram....

your only choice would be to overclock your Athlon, just make sure you get a better cpu fan and Heatsink and make sure your power supply can handle the work out.
