Taking My Time

Since I can't deliver this load in IL until Monday I have just been taking my time wandering over that way. Today I drove a few hundred miles and called it a day. I'm less than 500 miles from my destination now and will probably cover most of that tomorrow.

I picked up a DVD copy of I Am Legend and will watch that this evening. I'm also knitting a sweater vest out of the alpaca yarn I bought in Ocala and have been working on that here and there today. It's coming along although there is still a lot of knitting to go yet. Sport weight yarn doesn't knit up very quickly as it takes a lot of stitches to make an inch. If I don't totally screw it up I think it's going to look pretty good.

I plan on sleeping in tomorrow and then wander on over closer to my destination. I'll probably stop at the Iowa 80 truckstop tomorrow night. Ass it's a huge truckstop with spaces to park over 500 trucks I feel it's a pretty safe bet I'll be able to find a parking spot there.

The weather here in NE is beautiful. The sun is shining and while the wind has a bit of a chill to it the temps are actually quite pleasant. I haven't even needed a  jacket today which is a nice sign of Spring. I look forward to warmer weather coming soon.

Your post sounds like you are "meandering" (the style of writing). Very laid back this time around.

Have a happy meander.
