How do you get an ICO acct if you bought game via SD Central?

Why in the world isn't this made obvious if Multiplayer over web is the big push?

Help,

I have no problem playing on my lan with others.  I just can't figure out how to make the thing work over the internet with ICO.

I have 1.03 bought it from Stardock.  Downloaded via SD central.  I can not get the thing to log me on at ICO.

 

Am I just daft?  Or stupid?  Or both....

I used to play a lot of Space Empire IV over the web (turned based game) and it was a blast playing agains lots of humans.  Hope to figurethis out too...

You need to create an account using the serial that you should get after ordering it.

You can't use your SD account information. They're two separate systems.

I don't recall getting a serial number.

Do they email that or is it in the SD Central info somewhere?

You can get it resent, there's an option in SDC to email your serial(s) iirc.

You create your ICO account and password from the game's ICO screen. The CD Key is the same thing as the serial number.  If you dont have your serial, just go to Stardock Central. Click on tools > look up serial number  :)
