OFF TOPIC ALERT
For everyone saying that Vista isn't that bad, shame on you. Shame indeed. While we elite(ish) are quite capable of taking the considerable hit to our processing power and RAM capacity incurred by installing Vista, the majority of peoples' machines can't.
The fact of it is approximately 50% of your active calculations on the processor and RAM sets are taken up by Vista checking that you aren't violating the EULA.
Principally, Vista is a good idea. Smoother interface, more intuitive navaigation and a generally improved basis. However, the necessity of running a 6000+ X2 processor just to achieve a 3GHz effective CPU capacity puts me off.
However, I will bow down and admit that I may, eventually own it. That is entirely dependant on whether OpenGL3 shapes up. But I will be unhappy with myself for buying and running it.
Back on topic, I would adore to see this game in DX10. And KuroTora, I'm right there with you for Supcom. supcom actually achieves DX10 level graphics, though most people don't zoom close enough to see it. Forged Alliance however, takes a step back. There appears to be not nearly as much antialiasing power in the engine, even on maxed settings. Perverse, but Chris Taylor knows what he's doing. He's been at the RTS genre for a long time. I trust him. Also, anyone seen Demigod yet?
