How do I Create a Second Blog?

Hi all,

i've seen that some users have multiple blogs; how do I set that up? Is that a feature available to ordinary users?

Thanks.

I don't believe you can create multiple blogs. Perhaps in the past you could, but at this time I don't think that is an option. I believe it may be for those who subscribe when that time comes.

I think that Dev is right; I believe there's a 'one blog per user' policy for free blogs. I think that will change when subscription services are offered.

Yes, it is a feature available to ordinary users. To create that second blog look in the area under where your sign in and out information is. You have in a grey box: your user name, your blogging score, the number of articles you have posted. Then you have a row which has the choices "My account" and "My Blog". Under that is Create New article, My Articles, and Track Watch List. Click on "Create new articles." Then you choose a topic from the drop down menu, create a title and subtitle and continue with your blog.

Happy trails my friend.

No, that's creating a new article, not a new blog.

Okay I totally screwed that up. I messed up and took blog to mean article. How dumb of me!!!

I have been prone to this lately. Its a disease called college.

*grins wickedly and yawns*

Hmm, I think that would be considered a new blog "entry" or "article". Not actually a new "blog".

Nevertheless, I laughed when I read the suggestion.

Okay, so Dharma beat me too it. But the intent was there, it really was!

I have a variation of the same disease.  Mine's called 'having kids and getting no sleep'.  It's what the 'college' disease progresses into.

I know you had good intentions, D.  I was just a bit quicker!

I think that you can do it. Kind of. It involves setting up a blog group. I just experimented (well, I still am) with it and created a blog group that can function as a second blog. Again, kind of. Check it out here This is a test of the JU second blog system. I think the purpose of the blog groups is to allow people to share posts about specific things. So, if you wanted to post stuff about politics in one place and photography in another, without the two having to share space, this is a way to do it.
