I spoke with the garage a few minutes ago. They've replaced the EGR cooler that was leaking but now there is another coolant leak blowing coolant out the exhaust. The truck won't be ready until Monday at the earliest. Isn't that special?

I called the boss and filled him in. We decided that it would be cheaper to rent a car for me to go home than to remain in this hotel over the weekend and possibly longer. The room is $65 a night an the rental car would be $107 for the whole weekend with unlimited mileage. He's making the call to get me a car and I am just waiting for him to call me back now.

As the room is already paid for tonight I'll remain here until tomorrow morning and then head home. February has not been a financial plus for me at all. Pretty much a bust in fact. I hope March turns out better.

AH well, such is life I guess. Some days you're the windshield and some days you're the bug.
