Crikey mate I'll answer the ones I can.



Upkeep = the amount it costs to keep your fleet (rises as you research a higher fleet cap)

Allegiance = How loyal your planet citizens are to you. If it hits 0, you lose the planet and it turns neutral. The higher it is, the more tax the population pays, and the more bonuses your fleets get (Advent = shield mitigation bonus I think)

Culture spread rate = The amount of culture being spread per second. Use it for the same reasons as above. To flip your opponents planets by bringing them to 0 allegiance.

Mitigation = Percentage additional damage reduction. For advent you get extra mitigation when your shields are up in high culture areas. All races get higher shield mitigation when a ship takes a lot of fire.

Culture resistance = Resistance to enemy culture pushing your culture back

Now these next three I think are right - but as they're from memory, I could be totally wrong, so don't quote me on them

Fore warning - allows you to see invaders one jump away
Acute premonition - allows you to see invaders two jumps away
Divination - Reduces the cost and the time it takes to explore planets



They do yep, as well as increasing your planets populations.



This is because it costs anti-matter to jump. Note you don't actually need antimatter, so you can be at zero and still jump. If you have any more than 0 though, it'll take some off you (100 is it? I forget how much exactly)

Divination makes it cheaper and faster to search a planet for artifacts.
fore warning and acute premonitions allows you to see ships jumping to your planet fore warning been 1 phase lane away and acute being 2 phase lanes away when ships phase jump.
Upkeep i think you mean fleet upkeep that just means how much your fleet capacity is taking from your economy the more you upgrade your fleet the more it will drain your economy.
Allegiance is your Culture the higher then number the better for you and vise versa for your enemy the lower you get there there better it is for you.
Culture spread rate, and culture resistance help spread your allegiance across the planets and spread further adn help you resist you enemy culture.
Mitigation is you the amount of damage you ships shield will absorb the higher the number the less damage a ships shields will take.

2.) I think you mean how to counter them Flak Frigates and fighter's will take them down pretty easy.

3.) they do help but you need 1 for each planet you want dont put them all in one area or it wont work just 1 for each planet.

4')Antimatter is for your ships abilities each ship ability such as a captial ship need a certain amount in order for the ability to be used. the whol ejump and use half your antimatter thing i don't get either it take a ton to jump but you can jump with 0 i think it just so people can still retreat if needed and stop the whole comein and spam offensive abilities.

EDIT:: this is all listed in the manual as well and the tutorial teaches you of it i suggest you do the tutorials.

Mopes is alright, Silvan is probably from Hong Kong, they have different sense of humour there, and it was not meant to come across the way you read it. I am from there myself, and translating chinese humour into english with all the culture nuances is a challenge at times.

Thanks if i could edit it i would have made it easier to read didn't realize the underlining would screw up my formating it bunched it all up.

..it still too hard for me to understand during the tutorial and the tutorial really takes a long time to run through.. so i decided to learn this game by my personal experience during gameplay.

P.S. i am not a person who use english as first language...i have my diffcuity to understand each single word in Sins> i often use web dictionary to asist my poor english.

Hey glad to help best way to learn is experiment it took me a while to remember all the lingo for that stuff too. took me a while to figure out how the whole culture thing worked until i messed around with advent. just remember if you don't understand what something does build it and look at it's info card it will give you pretty god details on what it's doing.

another thing to remember is when you use the culture buildings if you look at the phase lanes you'll see a line travel down them if you see and opposing line going down the same phase line look to see if your line is advancing or retreating if it retreating you may need to build another culture building to push it back.

oh and just remembered your antimatter recharges the closer you are to a star thats the big sun in the middle of your area of space. the reason it depletes is because your ships is phased out and cant get the antimatter it draws from the star.

i have been identify as a japanese for a dozen times....even when i am studying in college in the US...WTH?!! HAHA

haha....sorry....im still learning japanese....and havent really begun to learn the kanji since im still trying to relearn the kana (trip i took a few months back sorta lapsed my learning and well...ive forgotten pretty much everything almost >.>)

i have a friend that lives in the nanshan district and was planning to have been in that area around this time....but things changed over the past few months and i had to kill my trip to japan and china =(

i know what you mean though about the misidentification....my friends call me "the white asian".. (others are more keen with "the white japanese") and im not even asian...just highly fascinated with it.
