Vent or Xfire? (And other noob online questions)

I've always used Vetrillo for online chatting while gaming and have never dabbled with Xfire. What are the advantages in Xfire? Is it a resource hog?

Also, how do I discover people to play with using Xfire? Is there a thread on here just for posting Xfire accounts and finding other players?

I've yet to play Sins online yet, due to the noob in me. I've beat the AI on Normal Aggressor and that's as far as I've gone.

I'd like to get more into the online aspect, from what I hear that is where this game shines.

So all in all, I guess this post is about trying to find new people to play with, people that are friendly and welcoming to newcomers such as myself.

My Xfire account name is "zuffdaddy" so if you feel like adding a brother, hit me up. And if you feel like gaming, I'll be free starting at 1am EST tonight (technically the 22nd). It would be super if someone who felt like walking me through the online process helped me out, I don't want to just dive in and piss off more experienced players.

No doubt. Just go for it. We use Vent for our clans and the Ponies have TS and others use Xfire. It really depends on who you game with.

i think xfire is the way to go. it has a real nice and easy interface and also activates in game. simmiler to steam.

Vent is not the way to go man. Do you want to suddenly hear OVER 9000! or Balls of steel! while your playing a game? No. So go with xfire.
