My friend can't even log in

Hey everyone. My friend and I are having a problem maybe you can help.

 I went and made my account with ironclad without any problems what so ever. Soon as I hit the accept key it went through and worked. I was up and in the lobby without a problem.

 My friend however, when he goes in and puts in his info and cd key, then hits the button, the game would freeze up. Graphics etc stop.

 So I went and created his account for him on my computer and now his account for ironclad is up and going. So when he goes to log in now, as soon as he hits the login key, it does the same thing. Freezes up.

Any idea whats going on?

Found out what it was. Funny as hell too. He was getting all upset and saying "damn game" etc lol
I told him from the sounds of things it sounded like something on his end. Welp it was.

His firewall.

Funny thing was, he said he had turned it all the way off.....
