chaotic vs, pure

I just started playing this game. Seems very interesting. Is there a description somewhere as to the functional difference between "chaotic" and "pure"?

Chaotic X, where X is either Good or Evil, means that race's morality is between Neutral and Pure X. Being Chaotic gets you some of that alignment's bonuses (but not the more powerful ones), and you have an easier time dealing with Neutral races than a Pure race does.
