Blogger Jeremy Wright has sold his blog, ensight.com. for $15,000, plus a monthly fee to continue writing on-line for the next year. It is thought to be the first 'clean' sale of a blog. Since starting in May 2003, the site now has some 100,000 daily followers, with writing primarily covering business and tech issues. The accepted offer comes from a web-hosting company.
It will be interesting to see if Mr. Wright starts a new blog after his contract ends. And it's interesting to think about what this means for JU, et.al.
