Can't think of a title but its about Elana

Well I've been thoroughly examined. I'm just way to tired to anything but lie and watch Elana playing - so I'm lying down and Elana crawls over to me and I bounce her on my tummy for a while until I colapse in a heap of exhaustion. So she plays with my hands and then her own, then she discovers the buttons on my jeans so she spends another 5minutes playing with those, then she discovers my belly button so she spends another 3-5minutes poking that then she tries to poke out my eyes and then she decides to play dentist - scratching my teeth and poking and proding - I drew the line at her trying to see how far her fingers would go. Then she discovered her own hands and arms and feet and was conytent to lpay with them until she crawled away to play with the stereo

but she was entertained by this for about an hour - it's 1pm now - I can't believe it - it was 11am just a minute ago

I had a nap - before 9-10:30 -- but I'm seriously considering NOT watching Oprah and lying down while she's napping right now - but she's already been asleep about 45minutes so she's bound to wake up any minute now.

But I'm feeling much better then I was -- How about you Joey my sweet - how are you feeling?

Speak of the devil (did I say devil no not really but Elana just called out to let me know she's awake *sigh* )

Ooh, I remember when mine were like that.....I got poked and prodded, sometimes painfully so.  Jake had a fascination with eyes and how they blinked just as he was going to stick his chubby finger in them.  He got quicker as time went on, and I got poked a couple of times.

I can't sleep either, even though I'm tired.  Dave's working nights, and I'm not used to an empty bed anymore....so I'll stay on JU and keep you company for a bit, alright?

You're very right. I have a slight cold as well - a bit feverish and sniffly

I'm eating alot of chocolate today - it's one of "those" days - which are always fun (at least it's an indication that birth control works)

Elana's watching some show called "New MacDonalds Farm" - it's very child like. Someone ate all the apples - they're following the trail of peel (it's going to lead to the pig - I think)

Would you look at that - the pig has indigestion.

and now they're singing about fruits -- oh well she's quiet

Yes, and I got a mailer daemon back.  Seems some things never change, huh?


I don't have 'those days' any more, I had a hysterectomy....but I still have days where all I want is chocolate.  Chocolate make everything all better....

I remember

Nick brought me home a triple chocolate muffin from muffin break. It was SO good.

Tonights tuesday - CSI and Cold Case. (nick's going to the movies and Elana is about 10minutes away from going to bed) it's almost 7pm and I'm settling in for a night of detective shows yay

You know what - thats the best thing about being an uncle - all sleepless nights are usually alcohol related and certainly self induced, yet I get to enjoy the splendid company of my nephew and neice... sorry to rub it in, but I only had a massive grin on my face as you recounted Elana playing with your belly button! the look in her face was probably priceless!!! I look forward to that so much!
