Well folks.. sorry to bore you again with my round of sickness but yet again something has come around to smack me in the face.
After being in hospital, and for the past 3 days using an antibiotic called Augmentin Forte Duo I have developed what the pamphlet has termed a rare allergic reaction. Ive got hives all over my body and they itch like crazy!!
Ive since done a search on the net today and found out that this reaction isnt as rare as the product information claims and that many people especially kids get this reaction to this medicine. Has anyone else had this reaction?
So I called my doctor as the pamphlet suggested and she told me to stop taking the antibiotic and put some cream on the hives for relief. Man! It seems to be getting a little better but it aint pretty!
With the reaction has also come some liver pain.
Geez I sound like a winging queen... I just want to be better!! Im over being sick. It sucks. It's time to be well now!
