I want a baby!

Alright, it's official..... I am baby crazy. I have babies on the brain, its all I think about. If I don't get pregnant soon I think I will scream. (Or cry, but I do that at every negative test!)

Today I was holding a customers baby at work, and I didn't want to give him back. :(

I wish we would get pregnant soon, I hope this is the month. The only thing that would be kind of scary is that if we get pregnant this month, we will have a close due date to Jayden's due date.

I will keep praying that baby blessings come our way.

GOOD LUCK!! I want another one too. Bad. badbadbadbadbad! But we switched insurance companies and they say we have to wait until Sept 1, 2005 to deliver or they won't pay. AARRGG!

So I'm counting the days.

I'm crossing my fingers for you!

I am overlapping my insurance so that they have to pay! I have two policies now during the transition until I get pregnant, to be on the safe side. We have been trying for a few months now, so I hope that this is the one!

Joey!!!  That's awesome!!  I'm sooo hoping that you'll succeed - then I'll have someone else to knit for!!!

I'll keep my fingers, toes and everything else crossed, and I'll ask every deity I can think of to assist you in your quest!!

Janders if you are having trouble conceiving then I would be willing to donate sperm, well not strictly donate as there would be a charge of $50,000. Your child would be guaranteed to have the Maxwell charm and intelligence, your own mini Maxwell dear girl!

Now of course you have me curious! Hmm....

Thanks Dharma and Trina.. I can use the luck!

Sir Peter~ Thanks, but I think I will pass. A mini maxwell cant compare to a mini Jaysen.

I'm baby mad at the moment. I'm sat here watching my baby niece sleep, and I just think awwwww! Maybe best wait till I grow up though! Good luck, I hope it's your month

I know how you feel, but with the added bonus of not knowing if I will even be able to conceive, which scares me most of all at this point. But, I will be thinking of you and hope it works out for you.

Meanwhile, have fun trying and wear out the mattress

Janders, shame on you! All you have to do is get a lawyer to give you the right loopholes for a future palimony lawsuit, and you would have SPM on the rocks (it IS what he'd expect from the peasantry, after all).

Ok, I feel like I have to act as a sort of male representation here as it seems to be flooded with gushing women and one greedy megalomaniac

A year ago my best friend and his wife had a beautiful baby girl, and every time I'm around her I realize that maybe having a family wouldn't be so bad. On many occassions I've had to hand her back to mom and dad and just didn't want to! I want one of my own damnit! Of course I need to get a few things done first such as get married... or course this has the prerequisite step of actually DATING someone... So it looks like I'm a good ways off yet.

Good luck Janders!

It was just if you tried for Jayden or if she was an unexpected blessing -- you're young (24) and I wondered why you were so worried and trying so hard and thought that in my experience things like that happen when you least expect them - when you relax and enjoy the ride --- words to that effect -- but I decided it wasn't my place to ask - I didn't want to seem rude or unsupportive -- because I wish for nothing more then for you to have another much loved for and cherished angel -- I can't wait to hear/read the morning sickness stories, the he/she kicked for the first time, we're having contractions It's a boy/girl
and all the funny sweet cute things that other parents write about their children -- I can't wait to write sweet and supportive comments on your blog just as you have one mine (and other parents)
I want nothing more for you and Jaysen.

Please don't hate me

I didn't know that was still legal.  I didn't think that health insurance could have a waiting period (other insurances can, but not health).  Maybe Michigan just has different laws about it

It's legal for an individual plan (in Minnesota anyways). Neither of our employers offers group health so we had to get it on our own. I've called and talked to them about it. My husband used to work for a company that offered group health and we'd be ok if we'd paid the outrageous cobra amounts to stay on that. He got a job that's only a fifteen minute commute as opposed to an hour and better pay. More time, more money. So it's our own fault, we made the choice and we have to live with it. The good thing is I can start trying to conceive in December, but I'm going to wait just in case I deliver early. Never have before, always been late, four days with my first, and my second was scheduled right on the due date and when I went it there was no signs of labor in sight. But better to be safe than sorry!

Anyway, again, good luck to you Janders! I'm crossing my fingers and sending baby-vibes your way.

Trina~ I would never hate you!!!!! Yes we tried for Jayden, and it took us a year to get pregnant with her. We are tryin g hard now because infertility runs high with my celiac disease and you have a bigger chance of starting menopause early. With these being my hopefully most fertile years, we are trying now, so that it won't be too late.

Your question did not offend me in the least, I am pretty open about that kind of stuff. Just the opposite, I think it is nice that you seem to care about me and my families well being, so its all good my dear Trina!

x-tine~

I am on an individual plan right now, but just started on my companies group plan. ( I am also in MN) I am spending a bunch of money extra a month to keep my individual plan so that in case I have a complicated pregnancy (like my first) that if I can't work I won't have to worry about losing my health insurance.

I am assuming you have health partners (as it is the only MN individual insurance I know of) just be careful, because they are super picky about what during pregnancy they cover. After our ultrasound that told us our daughters heart had stopped beating, they only covered 80% of the bill from the complications that I had after delivery. It left us with a couple thousand dollar bill, that we are just finishing paying off.

In a normal healthy pregnancy they cover it all though, which I really hope you have when you conceive...

Happy baby thoughts to all.
