Will The Patriots Have Another Repeat?

It seems like everyone's NFL predictions this year are all pointing in the same direction: New England. They dominated the AFC east last year with a record of 14-2 and were undefeated at home. Their defense was ranked 7th overall, and there offense 17th. In the off season they aquired RB Corey Dillion by trade and also drafted DT Vince Wilfork out of Miami.The only other contenders in the east are Buffalo, Miami and New York and from a look at their records last year, it doesn't look like they will be coming close to the patriots. Especially after Miami lost it's star player Ricky Williams in the off season.

Will New England have a repeat and win the super bowl again this year? ESPN, local radio stations, ABC sports, and more are all expecting the Patriots to take the Lombardi trophy home again.

Even though i love the pats, i'm gonna go ahead and say no.  It's so hard to repeat as champions in the nfl these days and with freak injuries happening already this season, i won't be surprised to see one of their star players miss some key games, but i sure hope everyone stays healthy because watching a game without the key stars you love to watch isn't as thrilling to me.

When i look at the addition of corey dillon, i don't think it's gonna change the offensive plan all that much.  I don't see teams stacking the line of scrimmage to stop him.  Their bread and butter is brady and the controlled offense, i mean of course a steady running game always helps, but i don't thin it's gonna help as much as people think it will.  Maybe i'm wrong, but only time will tell. 

People also say that the Colts will get to the big show, i still don't think that's correct. 

I really think that in the AFC, if KYLE BOELLER, yes i said it, but probably didn't spell it right, KYLE BOELLLER, if he protects the ball, and jamal lewis doesn't go to jail, the ravens defense will win them a ring this year, and not because of deon sanders, but because their defense is just that good!

The question hinges on whether Corey Dillon is willing to consistently perform for the team. This is a guy who can go out and knowck off 200 yards one week and get 20 the next. The press has focused on his committment to the team, but the season will tell if that's overly optimistic or not.

A team to watch this year is the Dolphins. In acquiring Lamar Gordon, they have a running back with breakout potential who will easily supplant Travis Miner once he is settled into the offense. My guess is that he'll be #1 on the depth chart by game 3, and by the end of the season, Ricky Williams will only be relevant on sports trivia quiz shows.

I am not really expecting the Patriots to repeat this year, at least I hope that they won't. I'm not a big Patriots fan or a Tom Brady fan ( I personally think that Brady is majorly over-rated). This is just what all the experts seem to be saying that the Patriots more than likely will repeat again. I hope for the Colts to pull out and win, that is if Payton Manning doesn't choke. I don't think that Miami will be that effective either. 1. Miami doesn't have a good quaterback. They need to get some passing yards in. 2. Gordan I don't think, will make the impact that Miami needs to be effective. That's just my oppinon.

You must not have watched him last year with the Rams. This guy's a breakout back who has needed this chance to get clear of Faulk.
