My exciting life

Is it sad, I ask myself, that I still have to go to my parents house to finish up my laundry? lol!

I still don't have a friggin drier, and it started to RAIN as I put my wet washing out on the line. Great.

Sorry for the mundane subject, but I'm bored!

Hey, you do what you have to do to get the laundry done. When I lived in Korea the first time, we didn't have a washer or dryer. I either went on post and used the coin op laundry mat, or my wife (then fiance) would hand wash the laundry and then lay it out on the floor to dry. The heating systems in Korea usually ran under the floor, so you could dry and press your clothes just by laying them flat on the floor and turning it on. You had to wear socks, though, to get around, cause that floor gets HOT!

Sounds good! One benefit of going to my parents' is that I get fed and I get nice fluffy clothes!

I have both a son and daughter in their forties and often greet me with a basket of wash to be done and dried. And, yes, I have to feed them too.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this! We just don't have space for a drier at the moment, although I will usually dry my own clothes on the line. Parents are great when they give you things!
