Talk about the SHAFT!

Decent starting position, would have been a tremendous start but my colony ship is 1 sector shy of a 3 habitable system with the planet 19, 17, 15. They would have been the topper...then only the Dengin and myself are known. I had slightly less influence SO I get the prison. The Dengin sloly hate me, so I begin to prepare for the worst. The Altarians and the Torians are friendly, but the ltarians are getting very big and influencial. Then the inevtiable prison breakout. 3 Battle cruisers. I have little... they wipe out all my defneders and corvettes. The Dnegin declare war, and are at war with the altarinas and torians, but only attack ME! The other two give me corvettes, but the battlecrusiers still have enough juice to make them worthless! As I lose 4 starbases and now my survey ship I begin to get pisse off! COuld any more go wrong? Where's the precursor Ranger when you need it! My economy is very good but I fear the worst...I'll give it a few more years I guess, but sometimes it just isn't your day!!

Pump out a scout ship and lead those guys over to the drengin and let THEM deal with it :)

You can lead the prison ships someplace? Those guys just seem to camp my planets and blast anything that I build.

In one game I had tons of influence (gotta love those waterparks and shopping malls), so I voted for the Torians to get the prison (they were in a corner with only 3 planets, but highly defended ones). When the breakout occured, the battleships appeared at their homeworld, wiped out about a dozen ships. Then the Torians sent ships from their other worlds to attack... also wiped out. So, I just mosied in, and took over two of their planets, leaving their homeworld for the prisoners (it was a sector away from the other 2 stars).
