Get rid of your off-by-one indexing error, your mismatched if/elses, and your extra, misplaced parentheses.

Oh yeah, you also need to use the --force switch. That'll force the compiler to produce a functional executable.

You can get rid of a lot of compilation errors by using the -version option.
