Sci Fi references in Gal Civ

Ok, we've all noticed the Star Trek references. The Star Wars (terror stars, mostly) aren't hard to miss. I've seen planets named Hoth and Alderan.
I've noticed a few others:
Restraunt of Eternity and Galactic Guide book are taken directly from the old BBC series/book series "Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy"
The "Undead Soldier" seems to come right from the "Universal Soldier" movie.
