I think JU is a great place. I think it's full of great inspirational people, who share thoughts, opinions their lives with us, and that is totally amazing. The points system is something I still don't completely understand, but I'm happy not knowing. I have found out that typically it rewards those that blog the most, more than the actual quality. Now don't get me wrong that doesn't mean the most popular blogs are crap, because that's not true, people wouldn't read them if they were. I'm just saying the more you blog the more reward you get, which is fair enough. Because of this I feel two people who I think are absolutely wicked don't really get the attention their fabulous writing skills deserve. I know neither of them care about the attention, but I think it is a public service to JU to let you know just how wonderful these two are! So here goes!
First of all there is Dylan. She is the most amazing, observant writer I have come across. She simply writes about her life, her feelings, her emotions, but you feel like you are right there with her. She makes you think about things you would never really consider. She notices the little things and makes them much bigger and all the more amazing. She is open and honest, she wears her heart on her sleeve, and for that she gets my respect. If you want a trip to New York you'll never forget and you won't have to leave your house to enjoy, her blog is for you. She is also incredibley kind and thoughtful, and given the chance, she will completely amaze you, so check out her stuff here Link
The next is the incredible Marco. Now I know he probably isn't going to like me very much for doing this, as attention really isn't his thing, but if you don't read his stuff you are totally missing out. He writes the most thought provoking pieces I have ever come across. You can read one of his articles, be amazed. Read it again, and learn something completely different from it. He makes you want to learn, want to think. To gain a better understanding of things. His writing is so thoughtful, and well put together, and so intelligent that you can't help but be impressed. He does all kinds of things, current events, politics, fiction, all completely brilliant in their own different ways. So there you go, though I think a great deal of writers are amazing here, these two really stand out to me, but don't seem to get that much attention, so this is just a gentle push in the right direction.
