Can't we all just get along?

Does anyone's family get along when everyone is grown? With four sisters, I feel like a ping pong ball on a table because I try to get along with all of them. This one doesn't like that one and blah blah blah. I mean, these are people in their 40s and 50s so it's not like anyone is a kid. On the other hand, my daughter is like one of my best friends, and my son is pretty much the same way. What is the problem with just treating one another with a little respect?
