I got a new job today!

Im really excited today!
I applied for a new job a few months ago and went through 2 processes of interviews and they accepted me into the position. What happened after that was the company couldnt put me on for their own financial reasons... Butthis morning after a few days of really thinking about it and thinking why did all that happen I got a call out of the blue telling me my start date is going to be this friday!
ive had work since the age of 8 yrs old where I worked for the local fruit shop packing onions into mesh bags..since then I have not been out of work doing anything to be paid money. Ive been a counsellor, communtiy development worker, petrol station assistant, cleaner, painter, gardener, telephonist, receptionist... last year i got sick due to my status and not being on medications so from last september till February this year I was out of work. When I restarted medication I started feeling better and my brain came back online and physically Im getting stronger .... Since then I have been working doing research work for one of the Universities and what Ive been asking for is a mundane job where I can go to work and come home and not have to think about my work, less stress etc..so I went for a sales position with one of the largest stores in the country..well I got it and Im so looking forward to starting on Friday!
