My Poetic Pledge and Prayer

I was going through some old poems and shit and thought I'd post them just for kicks...
November 27, 2000
This is the day the Lord has made
So I will make this most of it.
And may I, at the end of the day
Look back and say,
"I got something done today!"
Realizing whether or not,
While I was doing my thing,
That I was accomplishing something
And now, as I end this little poem,
May it be my purpose today and everyday
as I try to live up to this Poetic Pledge and Prayer
... Holy man, I just realized how stupid and corny that was. Ahaha. I was only thirteen, though.
