This is my biggest problem with the metaverse as it stands.. it that If you don't submit a game then your score doesn't get recalced..

To get around this I suggest that stardock puts in place a daily forced recalc on those who havn't submitted a game that day.. EVERYDAY .. so that EVERYONES scores get treated the same wether they are submitting games or NOT

this will help promote submition of games at least 1 in any 30 day period ... it will also let people see whats going on with their scores.. eg: I hate it when i submit a 60k game and my score actually drops by 110,000 .. that is very dishartening.. even though I know that I actually lost about 160,000 and that my newly submitted game actually scored me about 50,000 or what ever.. and people will be able to see this better if the scores get recalced every day.. so that they can check their score prior to submitting their latest and greatest score and again afterwards..

It would also mean that people can see that the inactive players are getting Penalized the same as they are for vacent scoreing blocks and natural aging...

As I've stated before THIS and ONLY this NEEDS to be implimented to Change the METAVERSE scoring to make things FAIR and CLEAR

Peace is that right, my score would go UP 120K? Or a typo?

A typo. It should have been 465K

Stardock, please do a recalc on the people listed at the top of this thread. They seem to have an immunity to the aging process.

If aging is to happen at least lets make it fair for all involved.

It appears to me that Stardock is using date of first game submitted to trigger recalc. The ones that I checked on as listed above all had first games of 10/03 or later, while those who drop seem to be the ones with July or Aug '03 games.

So it seems that recalc will occurs only during one month for a complete year for each user. Seems strange.

Maybe they have only found this way to avoid to much computation on all inactive users each time a recalc is done.

Or maybe once the threshold date is reached, they are recalced in each recalc session, but not before.
