Can't find Disciples II Manual

from Stardock Forums
Installed the game. Seems OK.

Installed the manual. Says it installed. Can't find it.

Where might it be installed on Win XP ?

PS. I looked in the Disciples install directory and did a quick scan through My documents etc.

When I choose it in the game menu nothing happens.

I also had the problem with the tutorial at first.

It seems that you have to install the additional multiplayer scenarios to get the tutorial working.

That's because the tutorial is a multiplayer scenario. It just has a bunch of events that show you the ropes.

And does anyone think it would be worth translating the (unreadable) pdf manual into a html or even plain txt file? Or know how to do it? (I still have to find out how to exit the game without killing it forcefully from the outside...)

You can save and exit the game gracefully from the options menu I found - there are some very small buttons for that at the bottom of the screen, arranged a bit like a compass rose.
