Just wondering how people manage their metal.

I have no problems with credits or crystal. But even with all the extractor research done, trading posts and a refinery set up at the heavy metal planets i still seem to not have enough metal to meet demand.

Any ideas about how to increase my stock pile of metal?

Did you know you can stack up to three refineries? Other than that... Conquer more volcanic planets. Or like Kyro said, black market.

It's that or start recycling your Quafe cans.

the black market i knew about its just that it can be damn expensive.

but the multiple refineries is a idea, i might try that on my volcanic planets. cheers
