How do you talk to just your teammates

Yeah newbie question. None of the obvious stuff seems to work. When I hit Enter it just shows [all] and seems to talk to all players not just my team. /team and other things dont seem to work.

Press Enter to bring up the chat prompt, then press Tab to cycle through per-player whispers and ally chat.

Thanks : I knew how to chat (press Enter), but not how to whisper.

You can also hit Shift+Tab to cycle backwards. I think at first you have to cycle through the list of players, and then it gets to "Allies." Or you can shift+tab once and your at allies.
