It's Been A Long Time

I've been considering a blog for many months now.
Without even remotely trying to make this appear as a solicitation on a "Dating" website, I'm forty-something, male, jack of all trades - master of none.
There are a lot of things that I want to say, which I DO say on a regualr basis to close friends. But those conversations are only transient. They fall by the wayside. A blog is just one way for me to see what a complete idiot I can be sometimes.
If I were to pick a color to describe myself, I would pick gray. I have my convictions, but generally I'm not "pro" anything or "anti" anything until I have all of the information and I feel I can make the decision on my own. However, if I feel strongly about something, as misguided as my logic and/or information might be, I will definitely say something about it. Unless of course, someone slaps me up-side the head and says "No! THIS is the way it is!".
That's my story, as lame as it might sound. Read: "Richard Lewis" (comedian - and whatever happened to him, anyway?).
