Transfer an installation of the downloaded version to another computer?

Is there any way to transfer an installation of the downloaded version to another computer? (To avoid hitting the servers twice to get it on my laptop and desktop?)

I believe you can make an archive within SDC and then make a copy of the archive on the laptop. Install SDC there and point it to the archive.
