Okay, so I noticed a few things in the video.

It appears solar systems are now on different planes
It also looks like you don't start out with a cap ship factory(is the first cap ship still free?)
The graphics have been majorly improved(I was psyched to see a little rotating light on top of the acrova)
And, ships can miss now?

At a guess, the whole "loosing your capship early is too big a blow" thing.
