How is this for everyone if it's just for Vista? There are still far more XP users. Why are our arms being twisted to use an OS that is a failure? It's BS. :SURPRISED:

I really wouldn't call Vista a "failure".

Yeah who cares we dont have vista. I guess you meant to say EVERYONE who SUCKS and has annoying vista! No I J/K I am just jealouse! I want vista only for the animated walls and I cant wait till there is something to do that with XP. Is JUST NOT FAIR!!! I hate it! But anyways thanks for getting my hopes up! And them smashing them to peices with a mallot and then sending the remains through a wood chipper and then bagging them and hooking them to a bowling ball, taking them to the middle of the ocean and dropping them to the bottom of the sea where they get eaten by a shark and craped out and are now no MORE! LOL Dramatic BUT TRUE!

If it has less than 3gb of ram then you'll be dissapointed with the performance. :)

I got an HP laptop with Vista Home Premium and 3 gigs. I still get some slowness on it but am already use to it. Is there much of a difference between Home Premium and Ultimate to merit upgrading?

I tried this program and it is great, too bad the beta only allows for the built in backgrounds to be used and cant add any.

I am getting Home Ultamite? I think and it will be on a dell inspiron laptop. I have heard very good things about Insprions. My dad had a hp desktop he got it for 500 only and it has vista with 3 gigs and The additional gig changed the performance dramtically! So I trying to decide whether to scrifice the best processor for the one lower and get another gig of memory? What yall think i should do? I am sorry Draginol for getting off topic. But I cant wait to get a new pc. It is going to be my first. Plus my dad gets a discount on dell from work so I guess i could get the best processor and 2 gigs and Upgrade later? Hmm i just dont know? Another thing is i am soo good with xp. I can fix xp problems and locate anything in any directory and I know that vista is going to be way different? Or is it?

If the only thing you are looking for is Dreamscene, no it's not worth it. You would be much better off buying Object Desktop.
DeskScapes, Tweak Vista, and WindowBlinds justify the cost alone and they are just part of what Object Desktop has to offer. If you are considering purchasing, you need to do it soon to take advantage of the free upgrade to Object Desktop Ultimate when the 2008 version releases on March 31.

You can read all about Object Desktop 2008 and the free upgrade here.

Actually, I'm would like to upgrade simply because I like having the best version of the software. I ask only cause if the differences between Premium and Ultimate is that background tick then I see no point in upgrading.

I look forward to getting my hands on a copy of ObjectDesktop but may not happen during this month.

I have Home Premium on my HP Laptop, and it works very well for me.  If you don't need the additional features of Ultimate, then stick with Home Premium, just don't get Home Basic.
