Help for the computer illiterate.

Since I've only been here for a little while, I was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions for me.

1. How do I put a picture from, say, my saved pictures onto a blog?
2. How do I put a video onto a blog?
3. How do you make a link that has, not the URL, but the title, or something else fancy like that?

And any other little computer savvy tips you can bestow upon a person who had to have her big brother set up an instant messaging system on her computer..

From your saved picture, you'll have to upload it to a hosting website, like Imageshack. Sign up and then host your images. Once it's on the internet, copy the address of the picture between these brackets: [img ]take the spaces out, obviously[/ img].

Observe: I'll put a space so this won't work.

[img ]http://l.yimg.com/img.tv.yahoo.com/tv/us/img/site/08/40/0000040840_20070702160716.jpg[ /img]

Now, see the effects without spaces:

As far as videos go, usually the YouTube site will have a place to "embed" the file or somesuch. Just copy that code into the thing, presto-change-o, you's gots you a video!

As far as the links, you have to use old-school HTML. You put (without all this space, of course - I just want it to show up for you)

Here's where you put the fancy name.

Thus, you get this awesome link to the best blog.

Yeah, at least you can date your current love interest. I'm stuck in some kind of crappy thing, which I hate. But that's another blog. :D
