Happy Thanksgiving Day to all out there in Blogland. I'm sitting here at work, Yes I have to work on Thanksgiving, thinking of all the food there will be when I get over to my Sister's house. I love Thanksgiving. Everybody sits around eating and talking and catching up on everthing that has been going on in our lives. Seeing people we haven't seen in a while. Then there is the oohing and aahhing at the babies. Anyway hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that you have to work today of all days. I do hope the time will go by quickly for you though so that you can be with your loved ones. Sounds as though you have them in your heart even though you are at work. The Thanksgiving that you described sounded so wonderful and reminded me of some of the ones that my family and I have had togather in the past and though I don't even know you, I just wanted to drop you a line. I felt as though we had something in common by what you had written. Sounded like a lovely old fashioned get togather full of love and great food.
I normally go and have Thanksgiving Day dinner with my favorite Auntie. (my mother's baby sister) However this is our first Thanksgiving Day without her since she was taken from us in an auto accident just after Easter. I had spent Easter Day with her and sat right beside her at the dinner table that day. It was a day I shall never forget. We sure do miss her. But I know she will always be with me in spirit. I certainly do hope you will enjoy being with your loved ones today! God has certainly smiled on you by bringing you all togather to enjoy each other one more time. Thank you for what you wrote about your holiday and your family. It brought back very sweet memories for me. GCJ
