I usually engage in combat on your side of the map, the star is only really useful as a connecting grav well (occasionally useful for battle)

alas, I'll be glad to see you -somewhere- near your homeworld  :)

Eets pretty much makes that impossible. Look around, you'll find a thread where he pulled out of a statement about how much a guy enjoyed sins "I liked it at my house...I loved it at her house..." and the dev's response about taking some "internal pictures" for release soon...
