How much desktop space is enough?

How about a 360 degree desktop, resolution and font dpi consideration might come into play, maybe not. You're stuck with a single 19in WS monitor and thinking about getting a second or third one. Well, maybe you won't have to. The software looks interesting, except it's in beta and you need to sign up for it. No talk about price, but they make you think there is a library of panoramic scenes available.

Check it out and let me know what you think. It does look nice and useful, and works on both XP and Vista platforms. It's probably too good, right, and never will come out. Also check out the FAQ's.

Seems interesting, but for a general user, not pratical...maybe for a professional graphic artist or designer...that might come in pretty handy.

Well I'm looking at it for general use, why you ask. I was thinking very seriously about going to a multiple monitor set up, of course for no reason that I can think of.

This software looks like it gives you the added desktop space that you would gain with multiple monitors at, from what I can see, no cost. The other attraction is, a new toy to play with.  :SURPRISED:

Try Stardock Virtual Desktops Philly
They work with your SDC apps

I know about Virtual Desktops Lantec, just isn't the same thing. I've asked them about compatibility with SDC apps, just waiting on an answer. Come on, let get a new toy to play with, I want it. ;)

This is what I use for multiple desktops... Deskspace ...works pretty good for me. Actually gives you 6 six desktops.

Yeah....the 360 desktop looks pretty cool with the panoramic....and they did mention its going to be free software. The only things I'd like to see first are the panoramic background views they will have. But for now Deskspace is here and it works great! ;)
