Invalid Registration

I purchase CursorFX Plus and received my receipt with the serial number. When I try to enter the serial number, SDC reports back that it is invalid. I rechecked and pasted it directly from the receipt. Still will not register.

So I requested all my serial numbers via the SDC option. When I recevied my email, I have a different serial number listed for CursorFX Plus than the on I received on my receipt. Great, that is the proble! NO. When I tried to enter the new serial number, I still get an invalid registration warning.

Can someone please let me know what my serial number actually is and how to get my program registered?

I think your best bet would be to contact Stardock directly and tell them exactly what's happened via the form located here:

(Don't know if that address will link from here or if you'll have to copy it to your address bar.)

They're probably observing holidays right now so you'll likely need to be a little patient.

It's called Stardock Genuine Advantage ;) I encountered the exact same issue and emailed Stardock Support a few days ago. Hopefully they're all taking a Christmas break so (due to time differences) it'll be at least 3 days before I hear back. However, so far as I can tell all the Plus features are there and the software isn't asking me to register, so it appears to be purely a SDC issue. Sounds like you might be getting prompted outside of SDC though? I'm sure they'll fix it in time for the next beta update. Have a great Christmas.

If it matters (and I'm not sure it does), SD sent me an email with my CFX registration number, but told me that I wouldn't need to enter it until CFX was out of beta.

Hi BX. Yeap thanks, I'm fine with the download. As mentioned above this is an issue with registering CursorFX in SDC. The new product is available in the list (under "Misc"), but cannot be registered in SDC with either serial. Guess the download link will have the latest version, but not easy to tell if it's been updated. I'm sure Stardock will fix this in the New Year.

Same problem here... But in addition, CFX doesn't even appear in the list (under "Misc") although it appears in the list for registering apps...
For the record : I also tried to refresh XML data... no results ; then uninstalled SDC and reinstalled it... no results either.

Well... let's wait and see ;)

(Stardock offices will be closed until 2008/01/02)
