Finals...*sigh*

Well, finals are next week.  I hate finals, but at least I get a break afterwords.  I think I'm one of the few unlucky souls that are still in school right now.  But what can ya do?

My schedule sucks for next week.  Two, count'em two, exams are at 7:30AM...yeah, I'm up pretty much with the sun on those two.  Organic chemistry on Monday and Religion on Tuesday...at such an awful hour.  I also have exams at 5:30 in the evening those two days...so maybe I can get a nap in.  Fairy Tales and Geography respectively.  Then Thursday I've got an ecology exam at 7:45...luckily that's PM. :)  I'll be out of here Friday morning and kickin' back for about a month.  But that's such a long way away.  I have an 1800 word paper to write for Tuesday as  well...so yeah, it's going to be so much fun.

...I'm tired just thinking about it.

Well, that's what's going on in my neck of the woods.

I was one of those odd people that actually enjoyed finals. What can I say? I always have enjoyed a challenge.

Sounds like a shitty schedule though.

I have one final every day. At either 11 or 9 am. And you're taking a class in Fairy Tales???

Nerd.

Fairy Tales and Geography respectively

I don't mind a challenge...but so many together...eh...

And you're taking a class in Fairy Tales???

Nerd.

Did you perchance miss the organic chemistry, ecology, geography?  I may be a nerd...but I'm a scientific nerd.   Fairy tales was a filler class, and a nice break from all that hardcore stuff.

Well, not all...but several do.  The exam will most likely for me.  I aced the other two exams we had in the class already.  If you can read and remember then it's ridiculously easy.

Heh, got ecology in there as well.  I like to sample a little of everything...not to mention there's a set of requirements that "make" me do this.   I still have some fine arts, one Spanish class, and physics to fit in and I should be done with the general stuff.  But yeah, I don't mind sampling a bunch of disciplines. Thanks for the luck...might come in handy.

No, I didn't miss them, those just prove the science nerdiness. The Fairy Tales thing reminds me of, oh, a Dungeons and Dragons kid. ;)

I'm just kidding, you're probably more diverse in your choice of classes than me!

Geek.

Never played...then again the opportunity hasn't presented itself.

I have come to terms long ago with my nerdy ways.

Good luck with it all, mate. I hope you get through everything relatively unscathed.

Question: what would your most desired outcome be once you finish your degree (i.e. would you like to work in a Zoo, in research, field work)?

Thanks, Maso.    Gotta get up early tomorrow for the first one...*sigh*  Still got a little more studying to do.

I'm going to try for the zookeeper option...but if something interesting comes along I might try it out as well.  I'm a flexible guy.

Cool... Good zoos are some of favourite places in the world. Taronga Zoo, here in Sydney, is absolutely awesome.

We're very much looking forward to visiting the San Diego Zoo when we come to the States in 2010. We're also going to try to get to Singapore Zoo on the way home as well.

Haven't been there myself, but it has a great reputation.  2010, eh?  That's the year I graduate.

Awesome place...would be very useful if I lived there.  Unfortunately I'm in Ohio...maybe I can find something like it somewhere around here.

Finals are a misnomer.  If they were "Finals" they would be the end, but they are just a mid point on to the next semester.

I am not as ambitious as Mason.  I did not like finals because of the weight they carried, yet after all those finals, I realize that if you dont know it by then, you did not learn it.

But I am still glad that is part of my past, and not present.

2010 is the year I graduate, too! Good luck Zoo, and study harder than I am right now!

Thanks...I'm halfway done. 3 more to go! I've been studying way too much. Still more tonight after I whip up this 1800 word blurb about religion for tomorrow morning.
