Yay! I Can Be Lazy

When I came home last Friday I told dispatch that I would be ready to go again this Friday (today). After more than six weeks out I am still not feeling quite ready to go but dutifully called in to dispatch to get my load information. I was really hoping she would tell me that she didn't have anything for me yet.

I lucked out and she did indeed say that she hadn't yet found a decent paying load for me. Yippee! I didn't want to hit the road yet anyway. I told her that was just ducky for me and to just look for something for Monday. She actually sounded relieved. I think she expected me to be pissed that she hadn't found me a load yet.

While it doesn't do my income any favors sometimes getting some extra rest is a higher priority and this is one of those times.

Ok, I'm just feeling lazy as hell, but sometimes that's ok too.

Probably a good thing - it is not nice up here right now.  Freezing rain!  I hate that stuff!  But by Monday, we are supposed to be up near 70s, so that will be better for you as well (not as much of a shock to your system).

Yeah I thought about that too but in all honesty it's just pure laziness. :D

Wish I could be lazy...but I've procrastinated for far too long. Finals start Monday and I have a paper due Tuesday. *sigh* I really hate college sometimes...usually during exams and papers.

It took a great deal of non-work but ya have to not strive for something.
