Icons wont change

Changing icons to actual suite...

I purchased icon packaged a while back (have the latest version 3.20a) or something like that.. I then went to vista manager 1.27 I did something to the icons and accidently changed them.. so I uninstalled both I.P and V.M cleared all my cookies, cache, etc. Installed both again (clean slate...) so I applyed my favorite suite and only SOME packages will apply fully to the desktop while others wont and I KNOW there able to be applyed. Please help?! how to clear the icon cache or to make I.P. work fully as it did before! thanks!

Anybody?.

Some icons do apply to the desktop, but the "open folders icon" doesnt seem to be applied with MOST icon packages. And there pretty recent 2007/2008 icon packages.!

i have problems with live folders, like the download folder, just stops changing after a while, and can't find a way to make it work again
