Vista Glass Effect Wallpapers

Hi,

Has anyone had any success with installing Vista 'Clear Glass' type themes ?

I'm really stuck in a RUT - i've tried & tried...

Firstly, CAN'T find any CLEAN DLL files to PATCH, they all seem to be corrupt !
Secondly, i've used VistaGlass from www.codegazer.com to PATCH 'DLL' files, but still unable to get CLEAR GLASS effect from applying themes - i'm getting a BLACK SCREEN with NON-CLEAR Startup Menu & Taskbar

Not sure if there's a problem with VistaGlazz itself, or the themes, or DLL flies or my Vista Business O/S ?!

Can somebody PLEASE help me accomplish a successful installation !!

Thanks.

I doubt that anyone here uses this software. Have you tried contacting the software manufacturer about your issues.

Sorry TDLANG, most everyone that could help is carving up the turkey right now.

You could start by going into WC configuration, copy and post your system info here.

Are you using the trial or paid version of Window Blinds? When you say clear glass effect are you talking transparency and blur?

I'm really sorry, didn't pick up that you were not using WindowBlinds.

Thanks Philly,

Vista Glass Themes give a Glass effect on Startup Menu & Taskbar.

Is WindowsBlinds also a similar concept ?

Downtime CodeGazer website

We had some problems with the machine hosting CodeGazer.com. The website was offline for two days. All problems should have been resolved, and the downloads are available again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

maybe you should try downloading it again

TDLANG the simple answer is yes it can be, it depends on the WindowBlind that you are applying and what features the skinner chose to us. If you haven't tried WB why not give it a shot. There is a trial version that is available, you can get it here WWW Link

I would suggest running WindowBlinds by itself and not with other customizing progrms, not all customizing programs work well together.

Give it a try and post back, interested in hearing your comments.
