For My Christian Friends

For My Christian Friends

I have been kind of rough on Christians recently and have probably upset or alienated more than a few of you, to those I apologize.

Sometimes I tend to go off the deep end of the pool and don't look to see if there is water in it, recently I have done this on more than one occasion, While I take pride in being a Jew I understand YOU take pride in being a Christian, this I deeply respect.

I would never intentionally demean any of you good people and recently I have been on my worse behavior, the reasons shall remain my own.

I ask forgiveness from those I cause even one moment of harm. If you can find it in you hearts to do so I thank you ahead of time, if you cannot I understand and it's ok. All of your feelings about this matter are valid and I will not argue them any further.

I leave you all in peace.

Elie

Peace Elie.  Knowing you as long as I had, I figured they were rants, and so read, but only commented to clarify thigns, not debate.  As I told Think Aloud, faith is not something one can debate logically.

Nothing to forgive my friend. Your feelings are just as valid as those of any other.

Peace.

Never be ashamed of righteous anger, Elie.

Not Ashamed Sabrina, I just do not want to inflict any harm to anyone, and truth is I feel I might have, hence the apology for the harm, NOT FOR THE STATEMENTS.

More like backlash docG than a rant.

Well, since I've had two JU regs in the last week tell me I'M not a Christian, MM, I guess I don't have to worry about this article applying to me.

Which is cool.

Most of the people here have NEVER considered me a Christian. I'm a heathen Mormon, after all . . .

And, as I've stated time and time again - I don't want to be what they call a Christian anyway.

SC,

Yeah, I'm trying to come up with a cool name for us unaffiliated heretics.

No offense, man, but you HAVE an identity, at least, with the LDS church. We just don't get to use the (apparently copyrighted) name "Christians". But we need a label. Not for any formal reasons, mind you, but because it will allow us to get a group rate on our annual conferences!

If it is who I think it is (or maybe not), they dont think I am a christian either since I am Catholic.

Shall we start the "JUCWANC" club? (Jew Kwank )

again with the division... I am telling you religion has done more to divide man than unite man.
