Aesome opening main menu music!!!

I love the main menu music in SOSE!!! I will start up the game and do chores around the house listening to it with high quality surround sound. So EPIC!!!!

Do you guys like the main menu music to Sins?

Give the creator of that music a raise. Right now.

or you can just find the music in your game folder and play them with winamp

My favorite are the Vasari 6 (reminds me so much of BSG)
Theres also the Vasari 4, which is so spooky

oh and the composer is called psugar here on the forum, and according to Blair he is one with many talents, what those are we dont know , but he is one hell of a guy to make music

I love all of the music! But i agree with you Stanley the opening one is one of the best (and one of my favorites!)

Thanks guys!

It's great to hear that you're liking the music. Comments like these make all those hours chained to the keyboard seem worthwhile.

I'll definitely throw my hat in and say the Sins music is very engaging and fits with the game very well!

By the way trouble 7 sounds like a familar song from a game called praetorians sounds good though.

Hey since we don't get the Advent race until the final release can we at least get one of their songs!!

ahh someone respond pLEase!

You'll hear their music when their ships are pounding your planet to dust

Unlikely you'll hear it before release, sorry. There's a hint of it in the game opening music...

oooo that's what i thought. Hmm I'll have to study the opening theme and pick out the TEC stuff and the Vasari Theme from it and look for likely Advent themes!
Hmmmmm. Is it the first 40 seconds of the opening theme that merges into the TEC song? I think it is because that is neither TEC or Vasari!

Indeed just bought the game and enjoying beta 4 as en ex sound techie myself i have to say music was well scored and amazingly recorded well done
Reply #18 Top
Ok seriously the music in Sins...

You know in other games , you get maybe 2 or 3 tracks which define the game , much like Singles in an Album. The other tracks are usually just fillers.

Sins has about 20-30 tracks which could be the main defining tracks. Its that good.

i do have one question about the sound and was it recorded in a studio or was it all done on a pc by one poor guy whipped and force fed only with penuts and nicknacks
Reply #20 Top
Well... psugar already described being chained to a keyboard, so the peanuts and nicknacks theory seems more likely.

Fun Fact - Blair and I did most of the voicework for the TEC in early betas.  Don't worry, you'll be spared the squawking in the final :)
