Forever longing childhood toys...

When I was a little girl, all I ever wanted was one of those blonde-haired rubberish plastic dolls that had a whole bunch of compartments that contained makeup. You know... the ones where her hat opens up to display 4 hideous shades of hot pink lipstick, her locket pops open - housing 2 shades of bright blue eyeshadow, and her oversized ring flips open , containing pink blush. This was a little girl's dream! Gobs of "big girl makeup" and a super cute pal to go along. But do you know the best part of this doll? The multi-colored stickers that were distributed through the toe of her little pink sneaker. *dramatic, eye-fluttering sigh*. When I was little, this doll was ALWAYS at the top of my christmas list, birthday list, and any other gift list I had the chance to be greedy with. Do you remember those days?
I remember one time when I was at my neighbor's house, and she whipped out this magnificent chutes and ladders-like marble maze... the kind of kit where you assemble the plastic parts and make a huge maze for a marble to come down the chutes and spirals and end up in a little green tray at the end? yeah... that was awesome!! I came over to her house EVERY DAY... JUST to play with that game.... okay, I lied... she also had an ass-load of REALLY cool barbies.
Also, I always wanted one of those little robotic dogs... those were the COOLEST!! I wanted a little dog to walk around my room and bark with its little metalic fakey-dogness. lol!! a little white one, that I could attack with my water-soluable markers... Muwahahaaaaaaaa..... YEah... never got one of those... but I did have REAL ones that I could attack.... *scratch that*
Anyway... now that ive let it out to the world, I can finally let my un-tameable desire for these childhood toys rest in peace.
have a good day everyone. hehe
