WHAT on earth are those points (score??) for in the upper right hand corner? im quite confused... help! please?

It's just a way to track things... they can mean anything that you want 'em to. If you want to see where you are compared to the other bloggers, they are useful. Mostly they're just a reference thing... don't get wrapped around the axle about 'em, they aren't gonna make you famous or anything...

click on "The Scoring System" down at the bottom of the screen
